opus : Sound coding format
Opus is a sound encoding format, and Opus's predecessor was the celt encoder. Developed by the IETF for real-time voice transmission over the network, the standard format is RFC 6716.
AMR files are compressed audio files which are often used by cell phones. This files can contain voice recordings or voicebox messages for example. The format was developed by Ericsson.
